I placed a $400 order ( as I have ordered many times before). Order shipped. The order arrived completely thawed. UPS had destroyed the shipping cooler. Contracted DL and the said they would reship... ( No omg I'm so sorry...( Shipping is not their fault - packing a heavy cooler is). All items were destroyed and thrown away. The seals on the BBQ sauce were also sloppy loose...tasted nasty...all dumped.
This was all needed for the 4th. They reshipped. This time in two packages. Shipping was separated and shipped 2 day rather than to in Clyde Saturday delivery so one box sat 2 hours away for 4-5 days... It finally arrived totally thawed. One box did arrive ( the chicken) was perfect. I sent pic and emails and called in about the issues. The customer service gave incorrect information about delivery. It said on line one box would not arrive on Friday and one would. The person I talked to said it show Friday delivery ( I called because it just showed Friday and Monday delivery). She just rushed through the issue and didn't truly investigate my concerns.... Plus wasted a crap load of food... twice.
Again when the pork arrived the sauce was unsealed( the piece of plastic/paper used to seal use loose and nasty. The sauce was not edible....I kept 2 at that time. I ordered a 4 pack and one came with the pack I ordered...that means I only have 2 out of the 5 I paid for.
There is more but I'm sure you stop reading and caring along way making excuses how customers always complain and your not a shipping company ( UPS)...
If UPS messed up 2 times to a particular address...why attempt it a 3rd. The stress for the customer is a lot of they are depending on this for 4th celebration.
Why not have standards for packing cooler. Allowing heavy item to slam around is just asking for a broken crate.
Taking time to really invitigate an order could have fixed the issue 2 plus days earlier... It said 2 day shipping. If you know it's multiple boxes - track both boxes
Possible Saturday Delivery.... If it's possible that something that something might happen - pay for Sat delivery...UPS has rules about weekend delivery and most don't move anything in a small town till Monday...
And I still only have 2 sauce. After paying for 5.
Oh ya... Why say you get someone when you call info it just to go to a voice recorder - Everytime - Everytime.... That's not customer service... That's Grandma's house screening calls
The chicken has an amazing smoked flavor and moist. Highly Recommended.
Everything was delicious! Although we had an issue with receiving the wrong item initially, Dreamland customer service team, quickly corrected the order and shipped the item overnight.

I have loved dreamland for more years than I can remember. As far back when the only one was the original in Tuscaloosa.
Went to Dreamland years ago and have been hooked on the vinegar-based sauce ever since. Best BBQ sauce ever.
I am from Homewood, AL and I haven't had Dreamland since I moved up to West Virginia eight years ago. I just had to have some ribs. Placed my order and was so excited. However, after a UPS mishap, my order had spoiled. I sent an email to customer support and without batting an eye, got another order of ribs sent and got to my house with no problems. Those were the best two slabs of ribs and white bread I've had in a long time. Thank you so much!!
